CollegeInvest’s mission is to address the challenges Coloradans face regarding both the affordability of and access to higher education. CollegeInvest was created by the State of Colorado in 1979 and is a division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. As Colorado’s leading education financing resource we provide expert information, simple financial planning tools, scholarships, tax advantaged college savings plans and low-cost student and parent loans to take education dollars as far as they can go.
CollegeInvest is a self-supporting state enterprise and does not receive taxpayer funding. The Colorado Department of Higher Education has oversight and management responsibilities over the division.
